Elise Meyer organized a Pink Out for her highschool in 2009 to raise breast cancer awareness and to commemorate her mom whom she had recently lost due to breast cancer.  Her high school athletic director reached out to other high schools in the WPIAL to have their own "Pink Outs," and the response was overwhelming.  Three years later, Elise has raised over $35,000 for the Young Women's Brest Cancer Awareness Foundation, an organization her mom helped to found with other young women battling breast cancer.  Word of her success and the "Pink Outs" spread and now Elise will be on ABC's "Everyday Health" show, a program recognizing people's contribution to health and to the community.  Support Elise and the Young Women's Breast Cancer Awareness Foundation by having your school do a "Pink Out" and by tuning in to "Everyday Health" on ABC which will air beginning Saturday, September 3rd.
